3D Model License
V-Multi 3D Models are royalty free unless otherwise noted. This means that after purchasing 3D Models, you are not required to make any future payments (or pay further royalty fees) and you may use the 3D Models in multiple projects, forever. The 3D Model License is the final and authoritative agreement on your use of V-Multi products.
General
Prohibited uses:
You may NOT redistribute or otherwise make V-Multi 3D Models available to end-users. If you need to give the 3D Model files to a client, you need to purchase a license for each client that gets the 3D Model files.
You may NOT use a promotional image that has any added element which is not included as part of the 3D Model. For example, if a 3D Model contains an animal, and there is a promotional image of that animal rendered over a forest; however, the forest image is not included as part of the 3D Model, you cannot use that promotional image.
You may NOT use a promotional image from a movie or advertisement that may have used the 3D Model.
You may NOT use any promotional image that has a logo, watermark, attribution, copyright or other notice superimposed on the image without prior approval from V-Multi.
Types of Uses
Games:
Allowed uses:
Using V-Multi 3D Models in any type of Games that won't allow others to access the 3D Model's data like closed source Games.
3D Models can be used in games like: Console, PC, Web, Mobile; Virtual and Augmented Reality; Game mods; MMOs and Virtual Worlds as long as they are closed source.
Prohibited uses:
Using V-Multi 3D Models in any type of Games that allow others to access the 3D Model's data like open-source Games.
You can use V-Multi’s 3D Models in videogames and virtual worlds as long as the 3D files are part of a larger creation and not in an open format which would allow others access to the underlying 3D Model’s data. Giving away the 3D Model file itself is NOT allowed.

Using V-Multi 3D Models for TV, Film, Web, Video, Advertising.
You can use V-Multi’s 3D Models in TV, Films, Web, Videos, Advertising, just remember that if you need to give the 3D Model files to a client, you need to purchase a license for each client that gets the 3D Model files.

Using V-Multi 3D Models for Architectural renderings, Website design, Corporate communications, Marketing collateral.
Prohibited uses:
Using a 3D Model as an actual component of a business logo or trademark is prohibited because you cannot trademark V-Multi's 3D Model design (and make it exclusively your own).
You are free to use V-Multi 3D Models as part of a project that features a business logo or trademark, but the 3D Model may NOT be used as a logo, trademark or a component of a logo or trademark.
Education:
Allowed uses:
Using V-Multi 3D Models for Instructional Videos or Slideshows, Tutorials, Course work.
Prohibited uses:
A 3D Model cannot be redistributed (even if altered) to the students for access on their personal computers or other devices (it is only allowed for school/university owned computers).
Product Design:
Allowed uses:
Using V-Multi 3D Models for Pre-Visualization, Product prototyping, Product packaging
Prohibited uses:
A 3D Model can be used as packaging design for a certain product (whether it is altered or not), but the design cannot be patented or protected in any way, unless the changes of the 3D Model makes the product design completely unrecognizable. This is because you cannot trademark V-Multi's 3D Model design (and make it exclusively your own).
Physical Creations:
Allowed uses:
As long as the 3D Model does not have an Editorial Use label or contain Depicted Intellectual Property and is part of a larger work that substantially changes the creation or incorporates the 3D Model in a larger collection of physical objects, it’s fine to use it for 3D printing, articles of manufacture, magazines, books, encyclopedias, custom vehicles, furniture, jewelry, sculptural artwork, toys, and other physical entertainment goods.
Prohibited uses:
A 3D Model cannot be resold as prints as it is (whether it is a 3D print, a 2D print, a shirt stamp or any other sort of printing).
Making a mold of a 3D Model and then resell those molds is also prohibited.
Under no circumstances can a 3D Model with Depicted Intellectual Property or an Editorial Use label be sold.
License
Ownership: V-Multi does not grant title or ownership in 3D Models. All rights in 3D Models not expressly granted in this agreement are reserved by V-Multi for itself and its licensors.
Rights Granted: V-Multi grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide right and license to copy, distribute, reproduce, adapt, publicly display, publicly perform, digitally perform, transmit, broadcast, telecast, advertise, create derivative works, and market 3D Models within Creations in the uses authorized in this agreement. If you need to use a model in a way not covered in this agreement, you can contact us to geral@vmulti.pt.
Rights Granted When Sharing 3D Models: If you purchase a 3D Model as an employee or coporate entity you can share the model with other exmployees of the same corporate entity. Examples of allowed sharing include storing files on a network, and aggregating 3D Models for later use in future Creations. You are responsible for any distribution, use, or misuse by a recipient of a shared 3D Models.
Editorial Uses Restriction and Depicted Intellectual Property for Some 3D Models: The following restrictions apply to all 3D models marked “Editorial Use Only” on their product pages. Permission to use the intellectual property depicted on such models is mostly limited to non-commercial uses. V-Multi makes no representations or warranties with respect to any intellectual property rights related to the 3D models. You are solely responsible for determining the necessity to use any described intellectual property rights in your creations and to obtain any necessary licenses, consents or releases.
Unauthorized Use: If you use 3D Models in an unauthorized way, V-Multi may pursue penalties, damages, losses and profits to which V-Multi is entitled under this agreement or at law or in equity. The following are unauthorized uses that are explicitly prohibited:
Competition: You may NOT use V-Multi’s 3D Models in a way that competes with V-Multi, including distributing through 3D Model Clearinghouses. You may NOT publish, distribute, sell or make the 3D Models available in any way through any online or offline infrastructure. You may NOT redistribute V-Multi 3D Models as part of a template, design template, stock image, video, clip art or any other type of stock media for distribution or licensing through any online or offline infrastructure.
Re-Distribution: You may NOT re-distribute, publish, or make 3D Models available to any third party, unless the 3D Model is embedded in the creation and its files and data are not available to the third party. The 3D Models cannot be shared, except as authorized in this agreement, for example, if you need to give the 3D Model files to a client, you need to purchase a license for each client that gets the 3D Model files.
False Attribution: You may NOT falsely claim to be the creator of V-Multi’s 3D Models or receive/accept any credit for creating them.
Group Buying: You may NOT pool money to buy 3D models with more people / entities. Each person/entity must make their own purchase.
NFTs: V-Multi does NOT allow for any of its products to be tokenized or sold as NFT (non-fungible-tokens) whether totally or partially, even if the models are part of a larger creation.
No Obscene or Unlawful Use: You may NOT use V-Multi’s 3D Models for any defamatory, harassing, pornographic, obscene, or racist purpose, or to infringe any party’s Depicted Intellectual Property rights.
